Meaningful work

As well as routine analyses, we’re able to meet bespoke requirements. For unusual or uncommon tests, we’re supported by an external network of specialist laboratories. We also offer molecular genetics testing and advice which is provided by the unique Genomics Review Board. This helps us to give patients with cancer the most appropriate individual care.

Technology

Our laboratories are equipped with modern technology so we can analyse all types of human tissue and specimens. We provide a flexible service with a quick turnaround time to all HCA UK facilities as well as to hospitals outside of the HCA UK network. Each laboratory is equipped with the best available analytical instrumentation. We also operate an integrated Quality Management System, which is aligned to ISO 15189:2012.

Locations

We currently operate from four sites: Our Main laboratory is Shropshire House, situated at Capper St, a secondary Laboratory at London Bridge Hospital and two satellite laboratories primarily to serve our Oncology patients at both Harley Street and Sydney Street. We currently run a comprehensive 24/7 service at both Shropshire House and London Bridge Hospital Laboratories.
