Training and development

You’ll undergo a unique compliance and on-boarding process, with additional training modules on offer in areas like Basic Life Support, Immediate Life Support and Advanced Life Support. The costs for these will be covered by HCA UK.

Selection process

The selection process mirrors that of our permanent roles. You can either apply as normal or attend one of our specially developed half-day assessment centres to fast-track the recruitment process. Here you get the chance to learn more about HCA UK and explore a facility first hand.

How it works

Booking shifts

We’ve created a website which allows you to see all available shifts in one place in an easy-to-read format. Booking shifts couldn’t be easier: you can either email our dedicated email address or phone the booking line, which is open during the following times:

Monday – 6:00 a.m. – 9:30 p.m. Tuesday – Friday 7:00 a.m. – 9:30 p.m. Saturday – Sunday 7:00 a.m. – 6:30 p.m.

Getting paid

Bank workers are paid weekly, in arrears for the shifts/hours you’ve covered. We will assist you in familiarising yourself with our online portal which allows you to enter your hours quickly and efficiently.
