Theatre Practitioner – Anaesthetics/Recovery

Permanent, Full time, 37.5 hours
Shifts: Monday to Saturday, 07:30-18:00, 10:00-20:00 and 12:00-21:00
Salary: Up to £35,000 per year + 4% shift enhancement

We’re looking for a Theatre practitioner to join our Theatre department at The Christie Private Care, currently rated “Outstanding” by the CQC. HCA Healthcare UK has developed a dedicated private centre in partnership with The Christie NHS Foundation Trust in Manchester. The Christie Private Care treats private patients with a full range of diagnostic, inpatient, surgical, day case and outpatient treatment all on one site

Duties & Responsibilities
- Deliver a consistently high standard of patient care utilising evidence-based practice
- Assessing, planning, delivering and evaluation of all aspect of patient care
- The role will work across all disciplines, including Anaesthetics and Recovery so you'll have a chance to grow your skillset.
- Prepare patients and provide skilled assistance to the anaesthetist and skilled nursing care to patients in Recovery
- Participate fully as a team member, including working in all areas of the theatre suite, sharing knowledge and information and supporting colleagues, to promote a cohesive team and the achievement of team objectives
Skills & Experience
- Operating Department Practitioner/Registered Nurse qualified
- Post graduate experience in Theatres
- Current HCPC/NMC Registration
- Anaesthetics experience
- Completion of post graduate Anaesthetics course for Nurses is essential
