Senior Staff Nurse – Acute Medicine

Full time : 37.5 hours per week
Shift times: Monday – Sunday based on internal rotation, you will need to be flexible to work days, nights and weekends

Salary: £42,500-£46,417 depending on experience plus 9% shift allowance
We’re looking for an Senior Staff Nurse to join our Acute Medicine team at the Princess Grace Hospital, currently rated “Good” by the CQC.
Our Acute Medicine pathway provides a 24/7 service, providing care in our Acute Admission Unit, Acute Care Unit, or via our Urgent Care Centre, ensuring patients receive the best possible treatment - whenever they need it.
As an Acute Medical Nurse, you’ll be part of a team delivering high quality care to our acutely unwell patients, with a range of complex care needs. You will have the opportunity to work with our dedicated team of medical consultants from a wide range of medical specialties.
Day-to-day, you will use your knowledge and expertise to manage acutely unwell patients and work with our multi-disciplinary team to support our 1-hour pathway for patient assessment and deliver high-quality care to our general medical and surgical patients requiring medical input or optimisation.

What you’ll bring:
- NMC Registered
- Experience/Qualification in speciality / Acute Medicine/ A&E
- Phlebotomy training desirable
- Knowledge of relevant hospital policies and procedures
- Knowledge of relevant NMC/national guidelines, policies and procedures (Code of conduct)
- Basic life support
