If you are an established Oncology Nurse, Surgical / Medical Nurse or looking to move into Cancer Care, then this could be the opportunity for you!
We’re looking for a Staff Nurse to join our Oncology Unit at The Christie Private Care, currently rated “Outstanding” by the CQC. HCA Healthcare UK has developed a dedicated private centre in partnership with The Christie NHS Foundation Trust in Manchester. The Christie Private Care treats private patients with a full range of diagnostic, inpatient, surgical, day case and outpatient treatment all on one site.
We individualise care to the need of each patient, providing full treatment plans from diagnostic assessments to surgery, chemotherapy and anti-cancer drug therapies, radiotherapy and supportive care.
As a Staff Nurse, you will be responsible for supporting the experienced nursing team to assess, plan, deliver and evaluate high standards of specialist care to ensure that patients are cared for in a safe, caring and comfortable environment. This will include meeting their medical, physical and emotional needs by effectively communicating with the patient and their families.
Here at HCA Healthcare we continually invest in our colleagues, and this role is no different. We will support you to develop your knowledge and skills in oncology specialist nursing, which includes being trained to administer the Systemic Anti-Cancer Treatments (SACT), stem cell administration and various new anti-cancer treatments. It’s a great opportunity for a Staff Nurse looking to take the next step in their career and develop in depth specialist knowledge.
