We’re looking for an experienced Breast Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our Breast CNS team, working across The new Harley Street Women's Health Centre and Princess Grace Hospital.

The Breast Clinical Nurse Specialist will work with the Breast surgeons and forms part of the wider Breast CNS team.

As a Breast Clinical Nurse Specialist, we’ll look to you to provide a high-quality cancer nursing service to patients throughout their diagnosis and treatment.

The Clinical Nurse Specialist is responsible for supporting patients throughout their illness, from pre-diagnosis onwards, so that the patient is well supported throughout.

Taking care for patients throughout their diagnosis and treatment you will take a key role in supporting the patients during their treatment and are an important member of the multidisciplinary team (MDT).

As the Clinical Nurse Specialist you will be a critical and consistent contact point for patients who will often need to interact with different parts of the hospital in order to receive optimal treatment

What you’ll bring:

  • Registered General Nurse with valid NMC registration
  • Significant post-registration clinical experience
  • Considerable post registration experience in an acute hospital setting within Breast Care
  • Master’s degree (or working towards) in relevant field/or equivalent/higher post graduate qualification
  • Experience in Managing complex and difficult emotional situations
