These growth plans include implementing a real time end-to-end Electronic Health Record (EHR) platform, a multi-million-pound investment, and part of our long-term digital transformation initiative. Focused on advancing our technology and integrating web-based navigation, this EHR will allow HCA UK clinicians and colleagues to enhance patient safety, quality and care and to maintain our outstanding ratings and continue to be a global market leader in complex care. Therefore, we are investing in a new workforce to lead this change, focused on change management, transforming work practices, and project delivery of goals and objectives.

Working as part of Expanse within the EHR Training Team this role supports the delivery of exceptional training to colleagues and leaders across HCA UK, making sure that all training is meticulously planned. As the key point of contact for the EHR Training Team they answer queries, provide information, manage processes, manage and update data and support their team to contribute to the successful delivery of the learning strategy.  The Training Coordinator supports the Training Lead and Team to ensure all information is accurate and up to date.

What you'll do:

  • Coordinate the training within Expanse: plan and schedule workshops and training classes; coordinate location, equipment and personnel availability; manage documentation; liaise with stakeholders including the L&D team to ensure information is captured in the Learning Management System to create courses and learning pathways.
  • Act as the first point of contact for the Training Team
  • Respond to training queries in a timely and accurate manner
  • Coordinate Training Calendars
  • Escalate issues impacting training delivery
  • Update and communicate training reports and dashboards
  • Capture and report on training evaluation data
  • Organise access to Expanse for all colleagues
  • Maintain Learning Management Systems.
  • Support team onboarding activities

  • A track record for good organisation, structure and process by using strong planning and organisation skills
  • Excellent time management and multitasking abilities
  • An interest in continuous improvement and finding effective and efficient solutions to operational needs
  • Works with a collaborative approach with colleagues at all levels of seniority
