Job Title: Revenue Integrity Officer                           
Location: 2 Cavendish Square

Full-Time 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday – Hybrid minimum 1 day per week in office 
Fixed Term Contract - 9 Months

Revenue Integrity is a diverse, high-performing team of revenue assurance experts supporting clinical, finance and operational teams across the UK division to mitigate revenue loss. 

The role involves applying understanding of complex systems and business operations across charge capture and the revenue cycle in order to identify root cause of issues then implementing corrective measures. You will engage with multiple internal and external stakeholders including clinical and non-clinical staff, HODs and Senior Leadership, consultants, and patients.

What you'll do:

  • ​​ Investigate and resolve issues with registration, charge-capture and insurance authorisation on patient accounts that are preventing billing 

  • Investigate and resolve patient account revenue and charge queries from both internal and external stakeholders, to support maximising reimbursement from accounts receivable (AR)   

  • Collaborate with Nursing Case Managers, Patient Access and Revenue Assurance colleagues to ensure accurate bed fee charges across the division. Audit nightly Nursing Census and exception reports, helping Ward Managers make corrections and implement preventative measures.

  • Process daily data reports to capture charges on patient accounts.

  • Support facility clinical and finance teams in investigation, resolution and prevention of charge rejections.

  • Audit patient account refunds, reporting on policy compliance to HODs.

  • Support with training and guiding colleagues in best-practice and implementing measures to prevent revenue leakage. 

What you'll bring:

  • Experience of working within the Healthcare industry 

  • Collaborative and supportive team member 

  • Adept at analysing and interpreting technical datasets 

  • Highly computer literate and technically proficient 

  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and management 

  • Exceptional attention to detail 

  • Exhibits an analytical, inquisitive and problem-solving mindset 

  • Experience with Meditech
