We’re looking for a Copywriter specialising in Internal Communications to join our Corporate Marketing team based in London.  

Working as part of a welcoming, supportive, and inclusive team, you will be responsible for crafting clear, engaging, and informative content that resonates with our employees. Your work will be crucial in ensuring that our internal messages are consistent, aligned with our company's values, and effectively delivered across all internal communication channels. You will create copy for staff newsletters, as well as weekly communication emails to our employees.

What you’ll do:

  • Content Creation: Write, edit, and proofread various types of internal communications, including newsletters and staff emails
  • Message Development: Collaborate with senior leaders, Culture, Communications and Engagement team and other departments to develop key messages and ensure they are effectively communicated to employees.
  • Content Strategy: Contribute to the development and implementation of a content strategy for internal communications that aligns with the overall business objectives.
  • Brand Consistency: Ensure all internal communications are aligned with the company’s tone of voice, branding guidelines, and values.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with the Internal Communications Manager and different departments to gather information and understand their communication needs, ensuring all content is accurate and relevant.
  • Measurement & Feedback: Monitor the effectiveness of internal communications by gathering feedback and analysing metrics to improve future content and strategies.
  • Innovation: Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in internal communications and suggest innovative ways to improve employee engagement and communication effectiveness.

What you’ll bring:

  • 5+ years’ prior experience in internal communications in large, diverse organisations, preferably with a focus on corporate communications.
  • Healthcare experience is an asset. 
  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills. 
  • A relevant degree or writing qualification.   
  • Ability to translate complex concepts into clear, concise, and engaging content. 
  • Strong understanding of internal communication strategies and best practices. 
  • Familiarity with digital communication tools and platforms (e.g., intranets, email marketing software, project management systems, collaboration tools etc). 
  • Ability to manage multiple, fast-paced projects simultaneously and meet deadlines. 
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. 
  • Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work.
