Self-Pay Associate

Full-time 37.5 hours per week, Monday-Friday

Reporting to Self-Pay Quoting Team Leader the Self-pay Associate will be primarily responsible for producing accurate self-pay quotes, ensuring these are responded to within 2 hours of receipt (24/48 hours for complex enquiries that require dependencies or additional input whilst adhering to appropriate escalation and ensuring effective communication with all parties), ensuring all Self-Pay agreements are sent to the patient in readiness for their admission. Following up on logged enquiries within 48 hours to capture new business and further understand lost opportunities.

The Self-Pay Associate will contribute to the success of the overall Self-pay teams functions to help ensure patients receive the support and guidance they need to navigate their financial responsibilities effectively throughout their HCA journey.

The Self-Pay Associate will work collaboratively with the wider RSCC team, facility colleagues & internal/external stakeholders, to collaborate and foster strong working relationships with all stakeholders, including our consultants and medical secretaries to promote a seamless patient experience, always committing to financial transparency to support the patient’s financial obligation to be upheld.

What you'll bring:

  • Very strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to build relationships and partner at the senior Managership level

  • Team player and ability to build effective working relationships

  • Working collaboratively (rather than competitively) with others to achieve a common goal.

  • Experience of presenting financial information to non-finance professionals

  • Ability to demonstrate high level of enthusiasm and a proactive attitude.

  • Demonstrated analytical skills and excellent computer/systems skills with demonstrated spreadsheet and database expertise
