We’re looking for a Practice Nurse to join our supportive Primary Care Team based on a client site in The City. Under the leadership of the Head of Nursing and Lead Practice Nurse. *This is a Fixed Term Contract*
You'll work on a client site and be given the time you need to care. You will be responsible for the support, delivery and clinical excellence of the nursing service, alongside running clinics and providing clinical supervisions for team members.

What you'll do:
Be responsible for planning and organising own workload on a day to day basis.
Work closely with GPs and nursing colleagues and members of the client’s healthcare team and refer to GP when necessary
Provide a treatment service for client employees with minor injuries and illnesses including onwards referral to own GP, in-house GP or hospital emergency services as appropriate
Manage own clinical case load, dealing with presenting patients’ needs in a primary care setting.
Identify and develop a plan of care and treat specific conditions in accordance with agreed professional protocols and guidelines ( PGDs) e.g. travel health.
Assist with primary care audits, staff training and development.
Support the Deputy Nursing Manager with the IPC compliance throughout the service and the corporate client sites .
Play an effective part of the Infection Control team for the primary care- ensuring support for patients & colleagues in adopting sound infection control measures.

An understanding of the requirements of private patients working in pressurised business environment
Understanding of clinical governance and safeguarding
RGN and current NMC Registration
Completion of STIP course or equivalent
Experience of working with PGD's
