Job Title: Capital Accountant (Non-Qualified)

Location: Central London Full time – 37.5 Hours

Shift times: Monday to Friday – Standard hours / Hybrid working

Fixed Term Contract

Salary: Up to £35,000 (Dependant on Experience)

We’re looking for a Capital Accountant to join our financial compliance team based in central London. This is a chance to be part of our corporate accounting team, who work at pace and at high volumes to deliver vital financial compliance and information to our organisation.

As a Capital Accountant, you’ll undertake the responsibility of ensuring our fixed asset registers are complete and accurate and prepare the annual depreciation budgets and fixed asset notes. 

You will also prepare the monthly fixed asset reconciliations and our US capital reporting, ensuring compliance to company Key Controls around capital expenditure and fixed assets.

You will also need be prepared to undertake study, to gain a relevant qualification (ACCA).

What you’ll bring:

  • Previous fixed asset and capital accounting experience alongside corporate accounting and month end processes.

  • Excellent oral, written and presenting communication skills.

  • Exceptional stakeholder engagement skills, able to influence and work collaboratively with people at all levels.

  • A proactive positive approach and able to provide solutions to challenges.

  • Exceptional Analytical Skill with high levels of accuracy and attention to detail.

  • Demonstrative IT skills, to include MS Office, highly competent in the usage and functionality of Excel.

  • Willingness to undertake a professional qualification (ACCA)
