We’re looking for a Urology CNS to join our Cancer Nursing Team at Private Care at Guy’s, one of our state-of-the art cancer centres and, currently rated “Outstanding” by the CQC. Featuring theatres, chemotherapy and radiotherapy, oncology and surgical wards, and a four-bed intensive care unit we deliver a level of care rarely found in the private sector. A centre of excellence, we’re also constantly at the forefront of clinical innovation, whether that’s through our investment in pioneering robotic surgery, our JACIE accredited stem cell transplantation unit for blood cancers and Multiple Sclerosis or other treatments, such as revolutionary bispecific antibody therapy, which we’re currently the only private hospital able to offer.

As a Urology CNS, you’ll work in close collaboration with the urology in-patient and out-patient team to provide a high-quality cancer nursing service to patients throughout their diagnosis and treatment. You’ll be an advocate for the patient, providing specialist nursing advice and emotional support, while also educating them on treatment pathway, ensuring they have everything they need to make informed decisions about their care.  Day-to-day, this will involve working closely with patients and their families, but also Physicians and the wider MDT team to ensure the best possible patient experience and continuity of care.

What you’ll bring:

  • NMC Registration
  • Significant post registration experience of working in an acute hospital setting
  • Evidence of post-registration education/qualification relevant to specialty
