Location: London, The London Bridge Hospital

Working Hours: Full Time 37.5hrs (shift patterns) + on-call

Contract Type: Permanent

We’re looking for a Staff Nurse to join our Cath Lab department at London Bridge Hospital, currently rated “Outstanding” by the CQC. Regarded as one of the leading cardiovascular centres in the UK,

As a Specialist Nurse in the Cath Lab, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures.

Your role will assist in the planning, preparation, and coordination of diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures within the Cath Lab. You will provide patient care and support throughout the entire procedure by monitoring patients' vital signs, administering medications, and assisting with any necessary interventions during procedures.

Areas of involvement include:

  • Cardiac Interventional procedures (Cardiac interventional procedures; Angiogram, Angioplasty, PPM insertions, Radiofrequency ablations, TAVI),

  • Interventional Radiology, PICC line insertion, Permcath insertion

  • Vascular cases EVAR (Endovascular repair) and much more

What you’ll bring:

  • Registered General Nurse with full NMC registration.

  • Previous Cath Lab experience

  • Excellent communication skills with good time management skills and the ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team.
