We’re looking for an ITU Staff Nurse to join our six-bedded ITU Unit at The Lister Hospital, currently rated “Outstanding” by the CQC. The ITU Unit provides High Dependency (level 2), Intensive Care (Level 3) and 24-hour patient outreach service to the clinical areas.

The ITU team cover a wide range of specialities, including Colorectal, Gynaecology, Thoracic, Vascular, Orthopaedics, Neuro & Spinal and Acute Medicine. The ITU unit also has strong links with the ITU at London Bridge Hospital which provides staff the opportunity to work on another site and to maintain their skills by caring for a wider range of patients.

As a Staff Nurse on our ITU Unit, you will be required to provide a high level of care for level 2 and level 3 patients by assessing, planning, delivering and continued evaluation of care.  This is a great opportunity to develop your skills and work in one of the highest rated hospitals in terms of patient care. What you’ll bring:

  • Registered General Nurse with NMC pin.
  • General ITU specific skills and experience.
  • Excellent communication skills with good time management and prioritisation skills.
