Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday 09.00am-17.00pm or 10.00am - 18.00pm (plus rota weekends)
Contract Type: Permanent

We’re looking for a Senior Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Princess Grace Hospital, currently rated “Good” by the CQC.  

The Princess Grace Hospital is home to a number of specialist units and teams, each one devoted to a particular area of medicine, and each focused on delivering high standards of acute and complex healthcare. Our different locations specialise in areas such as breast and prostate care to gastroenterology and sports medicine. We work closely with leading consultants and clinical teams, both at The Princess Grace and our outpatient centres.

This is a dispensary based role where you will work with the Lead Pharmacy Technician and the pharmacy team to manage the dispensary workflow with emphasis on supporting and developing stock management, procurement and service improvement. 

You will be responsible for the below:

  • As a Senior Pharmacy Technician, you will be responsible for the safe running of the dispensary. You will coordinate, manage and ensure the smooth and efficient day to day running of dispensary and ward services.

  • You will provide high quality, patient focused, operational pharmacy services which consistently meet the needs of all service users.

  • You will be an Omnicell superuser and support the management of Omnicell automated cabinets

What you’ll bring:

  • Registration with GPhC

  • NVQ3 in Pharmacy

  • Experience of working within a hospital environment

  • MMT and ACT experience or willing to train

  • Stock management experience (essential)
