Informatics Analyst

About the Role
The Informatics Analyst is a new project role in our Laboratories Finance function that will contribute to analytical and data mining projects.
As BI and Data Analyst you will play a key role in designing, building and maintaining our business intelligence tools such as Power BI and OLAP Cubes and develop SQL data solutions. The BI and Data Analyst will ensure accuracy and timeliness of information, investigating and correcting any discrepancies found.
You will take responsibility for reporting tools, to develop a repertoire of management information tools for the senior leadership team, and develop and adapt reporting for 3rd party clients. This role is perfect for someone who has held a similar role before with extensive experience in self-service reporting.
What you'll do:
Create and maintain HCA Laboratories report suite
Prevent revenue leakage and assist in the implementation of new processes/reporting.
Create and maintain Activity Based Costing model
Ad-Hoc analysis through created models to support tenders for new business and assist in pricing proposals for existing and proposed new tests and testing platforms
What you'll bring:
Advance/Expert MS Excel
Ability to analyse large data sets
Power BI required
Excellent knowledge of SQL
Strong Analytical Background
Accuracy and attention to detail
Strong Communication skills
