We are looking for a Recovery Theatre Practitioner to join out Theatre department at The Wellington Hospital, rated “Good” by the CQC. The Wellington Hospital is one of the largest private hospitals in the UK with 12 Operating Theatres. Renowned for its state-of-the-art surgical facilities, the theatres are equipped with advanced medical technology to support a wide range of specialties, including complex orthopaedic, neurological, and cardiovascular surgeries. The hospital's commitment to excellence is reflected in its highly skilled surgical teams and support staff, ensuring patients receive world-class care in a safe and comfortable environment. The Wellington Hospital is recognized for its patient-centred approach, offering tailored treatment plans and comprehensive post-operative care.

As a Recovery Theatre Practitioner, you will play a crucial role in patient care after surgical procedures. You will work closely with surgeons, anaesthetists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide seamless patient care. Ensure that all recovery room equipment, including monitoring devices and oxygen supplies, is properly prepared, used, and maintained. Follow strict infection control protocols to maintain a sterile and safe environment in the recovery area. Educate patients and their families on post-operative care instructions before discharge, ensuring they understand how to manage recovery at home.

What you’ll bring:
