We’re looking for a Senior Staff Nurse with Haematology or Oncology experience to join our Day Care unit at the HCA at UCH currently rated “Outstanding” by the CQC and one of our specialist cancer centres. As specialists in blood disorders and cancer we’re continually at the forefront of clinical innovation. And you could be too. Our continued investment allows us to offer the very latest treatments, from our JACIE accredited bone marrow/stem cell transplant service to our newly developed CART T-cell therapy programme which is revolutionising the care we’re able to provide.

As a Senior Staff Nurse within the Day Care Unit you’ll be responsible for working in a supporting experienced nursing team to assess, plan, deliver and evaluate high standards of specialist care to ensure that patients are cared for in a safe, caring and comfortable environment. Day-to-day you’ll work on a variety of complex cases, but also with the very latest treatment, tools and techniques – allowing you to provide the best possible care for your patients. So, if you can bring us the Oncology / Haematology experience we need, along with the ability to lead and motivate a team then we can offer you the chance to grow your career at company operating at the forefront cancer care.

What you’ll bring:

  • Registered General Nurse with valid NMC pin
  • Significant post registration experience within haematology or oncology setting
  • Up to date knowledge and an experience on the administration of the SACT
  • Experience managing and leading a clinical team
