We’re looking for an ITU Senior Staff Nurse to join our  ITU Unit at London Bridge Hospital, currently rated “Outstanding” by the CQC. Our 24-hour Critical Care Unit provides dedicated, continuous, specialised care to critically ill patients with a variety of medical or surgical conditions. The Critical Care Unit is staffed by a dynamic and motivated multidisciplinary team of Consultant Intensivists, Critical Care Resident Medical Officers and Critical Care Nurses,

As a Senior Staff Nurse on our ITU unit, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of the department. We’ll look to you as an expert in your field to support and mentor the junior nurses, using your in-depth clinical knowledge to guide and support them while also stepping up and leading the unit the absence of the ITU Sister/Charge Nurse. It’s a varied role, one day you could be providing bespoke care to patients, the next participating in audits or quality improvement projects to continually improve the care we provide. What you’ll bring:

  • Registered General Nurse with NMC pin.
  • Cardiac or General ITU - specific skills and experience
  • Extensive experience working within Critical Care
  • Critical Care Course (60 Credits)
