Shift times: 9am -5.30pm plus EDC (Includes lates and Weekends)

We're looking for an Oncology Pharmacy Technician to join our Pharmacy Team at the London Bridge Hospital, currently rated "Outstanding" by the CQC.

London Bridge Hospital is one of the UK's largest private healthcare hospitals specialising in complex and acute care. Spread over three main buildings and five outpatient centres, it is home to a number of specialist units and teams across a wide range of disciplines including orthopaedic, spinal, digestive diseases, liver, hepatobiliary, renal, cardiothoracic, critical care, cancer and transplant services.

 Job Responsibilities:

  • As an Oncology Pharmacy Technician, you will deputise for the Senior Oncology Technician in the day to day running of the aseptic unit, and the work will involve the preparation of parenteral cytotoxic chemotherapy to both in and outpatients and the provision of pharmacy services to the chemotherapy day unit and inpatient oncology wards.

  • You have the opportunity to work closely with our Pharmacists, Nurses, Technicians and assistants, to ensure all chemotherapy is made within a timely manner and to deliver a high standard of care for our Oncology Service.

  • You will also be required to aid in environmental monitoring in line with QA and QC regulations and be support in the training and development of rotational technicians and assistants.

What you’ll bring:

  • Registered a Pharmacy Technician with General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)

  • Experience in a busy aseptic unit and managing the work flow will be vital
