Full time: 37.5 hours per week    
Shift times: Monday – Friday

We are currently recruiting for a Clinical Practice Facilitator to join our Neuro Rehab Teams at the Wellington Hospital, currently rated “Outstanding” by the CQC.    

In our 50-bed Acute Neurological Rehabilitation Unit we care for patients with a wide range of complex neurological conditions

The Wellington Hospital's Rehabilitation Centre, part of HCA Healthcare UK, is the largest private centre in the UK. Designed specifically for rehabilitation patients, we provide intensive and bespoke programmes of care for patients particularly those with complex neurological injuries and conditions such as a stroke, head injury or spinal cord injury. We have a Neurological Rehabilitation Unit, Prolonged Disorders of Consciousness Unit (PDOC), Medical Rehabilitation Programme, Functional Restoration Programme (FRP) and Polytrauma and Amputee Rehabilitation Programme. 


The Clinical Practice Facilitator is responsible for enhancing professional practice and the provision of quality patient care in HCA UKThe Clinical Practice Facilitator (CPF) ensures efficient and effective operations of delivery of quality educational programs to new cohorts of nurses and current staff to drive improved clinical performance  

Duties and Responsibilities:    

  • Provides orientation/onboarding programs to promote employee retention  

  • Conducts orientation in a manner that facilitates a positive learning environment  

  • Promotes cost effectiveness through implementation of efficient orientation/onboarding practices  

  • Interprets and demonstrates competencies to the staff  

  • Aligns educational programs with organisation’s policies and procedures  

  • Ensures that educational programs meet regulatory requirements  

  • Incorporates organisational values/culture

What you’ll bring:        

 
Your experience will include but would not be limited to:  

  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, Education or other clinical related field; must be in Nursing if the applicant does not have a Masters Science in Nursing;  

  • Extensive experience in clinical education; 3+ years’ experience in nursing specialty in an acute care hospital   

  • Ability to demonstrate an uncompromising commitment to delivering exceptional care to create an unmatched value proposition for our clinicians and patients.  

  • Ability to make timely, informed decisions that are in the best interest of our patients, employees, providers, community and HCA.  

  • must have experience within Neuro Rehab
