Role: Senior Scrub Theatre Practitioner
Location: London Bridge Hospital

Speciality: Ortho, Spinal, General, ENT
Full time 37.5 hours per week
Shifts:
Earlies and Lates (Earlies 7:00-15:00, Lates 13:00-21:00) 5 Days a week. Occasional Rostered Saturdays

On Call: 2 weekdays every month & weekend once every 6-8 weeks.

We’re looking for a Senior Scrub Theatre Practitioner to join our Theatre's Team at the London Bridge Hospital, rated “Outstanding” by the CQC.

The London Bridge Hospital Campus has 10 Operating theatres, and offers a wide range of specialties from, Cardiac, Ortho, Liver, Neuro, Urology, Spinal and General. Successful candidates will be part of a large theatre team of colleagues, experienced professionals. London Bridge has a successful track record of career progression, offering support, and development to those seeking to aspire higher or widen their knowledge.

As a Senior Scrub Theatre Practitioner, you'll be providing specialist care to the patients across Ortho, Spinal, General, ENT areas during the perioperative period. Assisting in the day to day management of the theatres, acting as a mentor to support staff and providing a streamlined service to our patient and consultants in a spacious and bright facility with state of the art equipment.

What you’ll bring:

  • Current HCPC/NMC Registration
  • Postgraduate experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated and able to motivate others
  • 18+ months scrub experience.
