Advanced Occupational Therapist - Oncology

We have an exciting opportunity for an Advanced Occupational Therapist to join our Occupational Therapy Team at the Private Care at Guys part of HCA Healthcare UK, currently rated “Outstanding” by the CQC. We welcome applicants from overseas who already hold an HCPC registration or who are in the process of completing this.
Private Care at Guy’s is a centre of excellence for specialist cancer treatments, robotic surgeries and stem cell transplantation unit. We have a wide multidisciplinary team with world renowned specialists in oncology and haematology.
You will provide high quality Occupational Therapy Service managing a caseload of clients with complex needs.
Provide comprehensive initial and ongoing assessments for each patient
Participate in the planning, development and evaluation of OT services within a designated area, holding responsibility for defined projects
Plan and implement treatment using a goal planning system within the interdisciplinary team
Maintain up to date, accurate and concise treatment records detailing the individual patient treatment plan and progress
Provide leadership for junior staff through supervision and appraisal

What you’ll bring:
Registration with HCPC or due to be completed - MUST
Passed English exam test or exempted from this
Minimum of 3 years’ experience within an oncology setting.
Continuous professional development in the field
Experience in providing teaching to colleagues.
