We’re are seeking a dedicated Sister/Charge Nurse to join our Cancer Nursing Team at The Wellington Hospital specialist. The successful candidate will be joining a nursing team that provides ongoing care for Oncology & Medical patients within the inpatient setting.. We are accredited for the Macmillan Quality Environment Mark Award and provide bespoke care to our patients from all walks of like. 

Your responsibilities will encompass providing leadership and support to the ward staff, facilitating interdisciplinary collaboration, and promoting a culture of excellence in patient care. You will contribute to the development of services and quality improvement initiatives within a collaborative framework to enhance patient experience. In addition, you will have responsibility of a team to support with development and performance appraisal and deputise for Ward Manager.

What you’ll bring:

  • NMC Registered Nurse 
  • Relevant post registration experience in Oncology or Haematology
  • Experience in mentoring and teaching junior staff
  • Up to date knowledge and an experience on the administration of the SACT
