Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week (on-call & weekend participation required)

We’re looking for an Advanced Respiratory Physiotherapist to joining our therapies team based at The Shard. Currently rated “Outstanding” by the CQC.

The London Bridge Hospital in South East London encompasses an outpatients and diagnostic centre in The Shard; the large world-class hospital based at the Tooley Street site; Private Care at Guys, which is on the top four floors of Guys Hospital Cancer Centre; and outpatient and diagnostic centres across the City and Canary Wharf. With 160 beds, 22 ICU beds and 10 operating theatres we offer our patients exceptional treatment across a multitude of acute and complex care and have use of the latest technologies and healthcare innovations. 

As an Advanced Respiratory Physiotherapist you will be responsible for a full clinical caseload, whilst supporting the Inpatient Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy Lead with service development initiatives, clinical supervision and auditing.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • You will be involved with leading on quality initiatives within the relevant specialism whilst supporting the same across the wider respiratory team

  • Promote and be involved in service development, audit and research within the physiotherapy team for all areas within the respiratory service line.

  • You will also be responsible for a full clinical caseload, providing highly specialised physiotherapy care to patients across the London Bridge Hospital campus.

What you’ll bring:

  • Physiotherapy Degree Qualification or MSc level

  • HCPC registration

  • Highly specialist experience in Respiratory physiotherapy

  • Experience working within in-patient settings within an acute hospital
