Role: GP/Health Screening Doctor - Glasgow

Town: Glasgow

Full Time/Part Time: Min 4 sessions per week

Available Days: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday or Friday

Permanent: Salaried Role

Salary: £10k per session, per annum  

We’re looking for an experienced and talented General Practitioner to provide adult primary care and health screening assessments to our patients at our prestigious Glasgow clinic. Our patient cohort is generally the "working well" coming through to us from our corporate clients.

As a GP/Health Screening Doctor in Glasgow you will join a friendly and supportive team and be given the time to care for your patients and a healthy work life balance. The role is busy but structured, giving you the time to enjoy your life outside of work too.

As a GP at HCA UK - you can have it all

Appointment times varying from 15 minutes for a GP appointment to 90 minutes for an in-depth health screening.

In your GP consultations and health screening appointments you will carry out some procedures such as taking bloods, vaccinations, smear tests, prescribing drugs, antenatal checks, travel advice or ordering further on-site tests supplementary therapy.

What you'll bring:

  • Applicants must be GMC registered. You do not need to be on the performers list but do need to be on the GP register. (Do get in touch if you are not on the UK GP register but have practised as a GP in another country)
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
  • Good working knowledge of IT systems
  • A friendly and can do attitude
  • An interest in lifestyle/preventative medicine
