Full time, 37.5 hours. Monday – Friday

We have an exciting opportunity for a Theatre Informatics Facilitator to join The Wilmslow Hospital. Within this role, you will liaise with the Theatre co-ordinators and participate in the provision of accurate and timely data. You will also provide effective support and liaison for clinical staff within the Operating Theatre environment, ensuring competence and compliance with the enhanced and developing Meditech ORM system and supporting further system and hardware developments.

What you’ll do

  • Revenue capture & reconciliation of Patient Charges (validation)
  • Update & Maintain the integrity of Surgical & Anaesthetic Preference Cards
  • Management of OR dictionaries & Inventories
  • Ensure patient care documentation is completed accurately
  • Provide refresher training of OR Module
  • Items & Implants for owned consignment, hired items are charged, processed and accurately documented
  • Ensure national registries are documented correctly (National Joint Registry, Breast Implant Registry)

What you’ll bring

  • Experience of working in theatres environment required either clinically, financially or within materials.
  • Substantive experience in a similar role
  • Previous experience of using clinical IT systems
  • Previous involvement in supporting education/training
