Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week

We’re looking for an Advanced Physiotherapist to join our Harley Street Clinic, currently rated “Outstanding” by the CQC.

This a permanent role working as an acute physiotherapist within a team managing patients in the critical care unit, oncology and surgical wards at The Harley Street Clinic. You will work alongside a wider AHP team including Speech and Language Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Dietitians and Psychologists. The role is predominantly weekdays but will include a small amount of weekends an on-call.

Duties include:

  • To demonstrate highly skilled clinical abilities and expertise within physiotherapy, underpinned by advanced theoretical knowledge of professional practice and with a specific focus on the management of patients with critical care, oncology and complex surgical problems including spinal surgery.

  • To undertake a comprehensive physiotherapy assessment of patients; to gain relevant information from the subjective and objective clinical examination; to apply advanced clinical reasoning skills; to formulate a clinical diagnosis of their condition; set therapeutic/rehabilitation goals and objectives.

  • To formulate and deliver an individual treatment programme based on specialist knowledge of evidence-based practice and treatment options using clinical skills.

  • Attendance at ward rounds and MDT meetings to take part in the decision-making about the patient’s clinical care.

  • To maintain accurate up-to-date patient records which comply with departmental and CSP standards

What you’ll bring:

  • Qualified Physiotherapist with Diploma or BSc/ MSc in Physiotherapy

  • HCPC Registration

  • CSP Membership

  • Experience in critical care and oncology

  • Postgraduate training in a specialism
