We’re looking for a Front of House Porter to join the team at The Wellington Hospital, currently the largest private hospital in the UK. As a Front of House Porter you’ll play a key role in the day to day running of the hospital, delivering an exceptional service to all departments, colleagues, patients and visitors – making their stay with us the best it can be.

It’s a varied role, so not two days will be the same. One minute you could be collecting mail, the next sorting waste or even helping patients settle in by collecting their luggage and guiding them through our facility. You could even find yourself at covering reception, helping on the switchboard from time to time - or behind the wheel, driving our shuttle bus or cargo van between our three main buildings. Each day will be different, but no matter what the day brings, everything you do will make a real difference to the quality of care we’re able to provide for our patients.

What you’ll bring:

  • Previous experience working as a Porter, or another customer service focussed role
  • A clean UK Driver’s License is essential
  • Manual Car Driving is desirable
  • Good communication skills

Why HCA UK?

We’re the UK’s largest provider of privately funded healthcare and have invested over £500 million in the latest treatments, technology, techniques, medication and facilities.  Being part of a large multisite, established healthcare group you’ll have unrivalled opportunities for career progression through internal and external courses, as well as working conditions that prioritise both your mental and physical wellbeing.

We believe that by caring for our employees, we empower them to provide exceptional care for our patients. That’s why we offer a host of flexible benefits that reflect the invaluable contribution they make every day.
