We’re looking for a Lead Psychologist to join our Neuropsychology Team at The Wellington Hospital, currently rated “Good” by the CQC and with over 1000 colleagues, the largest private hospital in the UK.  Our Acute Rehabilitation Centre, which also happens to be the largest private hospital-based rehabilitation centre in the UK, offers a unique opportunity for an experienced Psychologist to be part of a multidisciplinary team dedicated to supporting patients on their road to recovery, improving their quality of life while delivering the high standards of care we’re known for.

As a Lead Psychologist, you’ll manage a team of 5 Psychologists who provide a specialist tertiary level Psychology service to both inpatients and outpatients at the Wellington Hospital Acute Rehabilitation Centre. We’ll look to you to support a variety of patients with acquired neurological conditions (e.g., TBI, stroke, spinal cord injury) while also being a role model for your team and ensuring exceptional standards of care. Day-to-day you’ll work as part of a multidisciplinary service alongside a Neurologist and neuropsychiatrist, as well as an inpatient PDoC unit.

What you’ll bring:

  • HCPC Registration as a Practitioner Psychologist
  • Post-graduate qualification in Clinical Psychology, Neuropsychology or equivalent
  • Experience of working within an inpatient neuro-rehabilitation, community or outpatient neuropsychology setting
