Who are we looking for?

We’re looking for Paediatric Intensive Care Unit / Paediatric Registered Nurses, who are motivated and share our passion for creating a healthier tomorrow. As a Paediatric/PICU Nurse, you’ll need excellent communication skills, good time management as well as:

  • For PICU: Post grad nursing experience in PICU or Paediatric High Dependency Unit
  • For Inpatients Paeds: Post Grad nursing experience in a paediatric setting
  • Passed CBT
  • Completed NMC Application – MUST be in Children Branch

Job Overview:

As a Paediatric Nurse you will be required to provide a high standard of holistic family centred care to the children and families. Ability to promote family centred care and establish good relationships with children and their families and to communicate effectively at all levels within the multi-disciplinary team.

Inpatient Paediatric Staff Nurse at Portland:

The Portland Hospital have expanded their Paediatric service and we now have vacancies available for a Paediatric Staff Nurse to join the team in Neurorehabilitation and complex care or Surgical & complex care.

As a Paediatric Staff Nurse, working in the Neurorehabilitation and complex care inpatient ward or Surgical inpatient ward, you will be responsible and accountable for the assessment of required care needs and the development, implementation and evaluation of holistic care for children. You will be working to promote a progressive attitude to the continual improvement of patient care through research, evidence based practice and the development of additional clinical skills in the speciality.
