Graduate programmes

Broadly speaking, our opportunities for graduates fall into two three key areas. Whatever path you take, you’ll find it’s all about delivering the highest standards of care.

Nurses

Take patients through the entire care journey, from initial diagnosis to treatment outcome.

Theatres

Join our dedicated team using the latest equipment at over 30 operating theatres across the country.

Midwives

Gain first-hand experience at the only private midwifery hospital in the UK, providing outstanding antenatal, intranatal and postnatal care.

Working environment

We pride ourselves on investing in the most advanced technology and therapies, so you can be confident you’re working at the forefront of healthcare. It also means you can focus on learning, gaining new experiences and building on everything you’ve learnt in your degree. Put simply, we’ll empower you to be at your best.

Graduate Life

As a graduate here, you’ll have all the training and support you need to grow your skills and launch a successful long-term career with us. You’ll be working alongside – and learning from – highly skilled experts as part of a friendly, down-to-earth and collaborative team.

Employment for third year students

If you’re a nursing student at one of our academic affiliates, you can benefit from a supportive and straightforward process to help you move into your first job. This includes:

  • A guaranteed values-based employment interview with no testing for things like literacy or numeracy (plus coaching and support to help you reapply if you’re unsuccessful)
  • A conditional offer of employment within 24 hours
  • The opportunity to work as a healthcare support worker after finishing your degree until your NMC registration is confirmed
  • A high quality preceptorship programme aligned to the CapitalNurse framework with a named preceptor allocated from day one
  • A transfer scheme once you’ve been qualified for 9 months along with rotation programmes.
