Role: Specialist Clinical Pharmacist
Site: The Lister Hospital, London
Hours: Full time, 37.5 hours Monday to Friday
Shift patterns: 9am-5.30pm, 8am-4.30pm and 11am-7pm including weekends and Bank holidays and On-calls
Contract Type: Permanent

We’re looking for a Specialist Clinical Pharmacist to join our Pharmacy team at The Lister Hospital, currently rated “Outstanding” by the CQC.
The Lister Hospital, located in Chelsea has consistently provided care and treatment in London for over 30 years. We offer access to leading consultants from London's top teaching hospitals and contemporary treatment, with several highly specialised units including fertility, gastroenterology medicine and orthopaedics and surgery. With 60 beds across three floors, we offer a specialised service, bespoke to our patient’s needs. Our six-bed critical care unit provides dedicated specialised care to seriously ill patients with a range of surgical or medical conditions.
The development pathway for Pharmacists has been reviewed, giving you the opportunity to get the support and development you need to work towards the next step in your Pharmacy career.
We are looking for a Specialist Clinical Pharmacist to work with the existing team who work with the following specialisms: Fertility, Surgical, Gynaecology, GI, Orthopaedics and ITU.
Experience:
Registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council
Additional post graduate clinical qualifications e.g. Cert. Clinical Pharmacy Part 1 (desirable)
Minimum 1 years hospital experience preferred but would consider Pharmacists with a strong community background as support and training can be provided
Experience for specialist areas e.g. Orthopaedics, General Medicine, Critical Care/ HDU and General surgery.
Knowledge of relevant hospital policies and procedures
Health and Safety training
