London: HCA @ UCH
Hours: Full time 37.5 hours Monday to Friday 9-5pm (Part-time would be considered)  

Contract Type: Permanent 
Salary: Competitive depending on experience with excellent benefits

We’re looking for a Senior Psychologist to join our team at HCA @ UCH, currently rated “Outstanding” by the CQC. 

This role is to work within the HCA Psychology service supporting patients across HCA London Cancer Services. Primarily based at HCA @ UCH and The Harley Street Clinic.

The Role:

  • To ensure patients are supported from diagnosis through to end of treatment.

  • To support patients and their loved ones receiving palliative care

  • To provide bereavement support through signposting to appropriate services

  • To offer advice to non-psychological colleagues and members of the MDT who are caring for patients

  • To provide support to teams such as de-briefs as requested

  • To assess the psychological needs of patients and apply the appropriate psychological treatment which may include referral to psychiatry

What you’ll bring: 

  • Relevant post registration experience

  • Knowledge of cancer and its management

  • Psycho-Oncology or end-of-life bereavement experience 

  • Registered with HCPC and British Psychological Society (BPS)

  • Will ideally be registered with Private Medical Insurers
