The Portland Hospital has a fantastic opportunity for a Gynaecology Clinical Nurse Specialist to join their welcoming passionate team.   
  
The Clinical Nurse Specialist will work in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team to give appropriate specialist advice, support and education in relation to a variety of gynaecological conditions. This is to ensure patients, and their families receive sound clinical research-based care and have access to the necessary services.  
The CNS will be an autonomous nurse practitioner and have the ability to manage complex clinical situations, providing guidance, supervision and training to peers and junior members of staff. To be visionary and dynamic in driving the team forward in a rapid changing environment   
  
The Gynae CNS is a crucial role to support all patient pathways, lead on gynae complex care meeting's and be an advocate for all patients experiencing pregnancy loss

What you’ll bring:    
  • NMC Registered Nurse 
  • Teaching and mentorship qualification 
  • Significant post-registration clinical experience
  • Considerable post registration experience in an acute hospital setting within Gynaecology
  • Master’s degree (or working towards) in relevant field/or equivalent/higher post graduate qualification
  • Experience in Managing complex and difficult emotional situations
  • Experience in Bereavement
  • Experience in Early Pregnancy
