We’re looking for a Senior Pharmacy Technician to join our Pharmacy Team at the London Bridge Hospital, currently rated "Outstanding” by the CQC.
London Bridge Hospital is one of the UK’s largest private healthcare hospitals specialising in complex and acute care. Spread over three main buildings and five outpatient centres, it is home to a number of specialist units and teams across a wide range of disciplines including orthopaedic, spinal, digestive diseases, liver, hepatobiliary, renal, cardiothoracic, critical care, cancer and transplant services.
As a key member of the Senior Pharmacy Team, you will assist in the provision of a comprehensive pharmacy service which consistently meet the needs of all service users within the London Bridge Hospital Campus. You will alsbe working closely with our Pharmacists, Technicians and assistants, and have day-to-day responsibility for ensuring smooth running of one of our three dispensaries, by providing a high level of patient care. This includes overseeing stock management processes (including Omnicell), timely provision of medication to both inpatients, outpatients and clinical areas within the hospital campus including SACT/unlicensed medicines as well as accuracy checking of medicines including controlled drugs.
Previous experience in a busy dispensary will be vital, as this will leave you well placed to support junior members of the technician team and deputise for the Lead Pharmacy technician in their absence.
At HCA UK we care about what you care about. We care that you want to deliver the very best care. We care that you want a career you can be proud of. We care that you want working conditions that support your health and wellbeing. Let us care for you and your career, the same way you do for others.
What you’ll bring:
Registered a Pharmacy Technician with General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)
NVQ level 3 in Pharmaceutical sciences or equivalent
Accredited Checking Pharmacy Technician (ACPT) qualification or already undertaking ACPT qualification.
Previous experience within a dispensary
