We’re looking for a LMS Specialist & Data Analyst Lead to join our Learning Academy team based in London.  

The central Learning Academy team delivers high quality education and training for all HCA UK colleagues. They deliver education using a variety of approaches to embrace assorted styles of learning and diverse needs. Collaborative working also takes place with universities, educational establishments, and training companies to ensure the best programmes are developed and delivered in relation to patient and service needs. As a LMS Specialist & Data Analyst Lead you’ll report to the Head of Education & Clinical Training.  You will manage and co-ordinate the development and use of learning platforms in the organisation – the primary solution being HCA Healthcare UKs Learning Management System (LMS) and Instilled LXP platform. You will have responsibility for the support, design, development, implementation, delivery, and maintenance of resources used for instructional functions.

What you’ll do:

  • You will be our Learning Management System Specialist & Data Analyst and the primary system administrator for HCA Healthcare UKs Learning Management System (LMS), Instilled LXP platform, data analytical and integrated tools.
  • You will oversee the installation of all system updates, upgrades, integrated tools, and other software integrated with the LMS. This position provides learning management system (LMS)administration and support intranet web administration and technical set up of system functionality.  
  • As the key lead of the SaaS Learning Management System, you will be expected to work closely with IT&G HRIS Systems and alongside this, manage the LMS for our consultant body.
  • In this specific role, you will be pivotal to the business managing all statutory and mandatory training learning data for the business.  

What you’ll bring:

  • Demonstrative career experience with a Learning Management System as a developer or administrator.
  • An IT related or educational focus Degree – desirable.
  • Experience with HTML and audio and video editing software desirable.
  • Experience of providing LMS systems support and training on the platform.
  • High level skills in problem solving skills.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Exceptional Stakeholder engagement, management and influencing abilities.
  • Extensive knowledge of information architecture principles and methods
  • A commitment to continuous professional development – able to learn new systems and processes efficiently. Able to interpret system needs and construct system processes.
