We’re looking for an Oncology Ward Manager to join our team at the prestigious Harley Street Clinic, currently rated “Outstanding” by the CQC and renowned for having the most advanced private cancer facilities in Europe, combining state-of-the-art equipment with a dedicated team of oncologists and clinicians.

The ward is a Macmillan Cancer Support rated 5/5 unit comprising of 35 beds spread over two floors. It is predominantly solid tumours and the unit caters for acutely unwell oncology patients, palliative care, radiotherapy, interventional procedures and radionuclide patients.

The Oncology Ward Manager is a key, influential role and recognised as being critical to the delivery of the Oncology strategy. Your role will involve developing and leading an already established clinical team to ensure the delivery of outstanding cancer care for our patients.  

Your role will encompass the people management of the Oncology nursing team ensuring an engaged and motived workforce, building a pipeline of talent that will sustain the performance of nursing services in the future. 

The Oncology Ward Manager also has budgetary responsibility for the ward, ensuring clinical efficiency across all clinical areas and your role will include the management of clinical quality indicators, ensuring an excellent patient experience is delivered at all times and ensuring that outstanding CQC standards are maintained throughout the unit.
