Town / Site: London: Chelsea Outpatients Centre, 280 Kings Road, London 

Full time: 37.5 hours per week   
Shift times: Monday –Friday (Flexibility required to cover 8am – 8.00pm)  

Permanent contract  
Salary: Competitive (DOE)   


We’re looking for a Lead Clinical Sister/ Deputy Outpatients Manager to join the Chelsea Outpatients Department, part of The Lister Hospital, currently rated “Outstanding” by the CQC.   


The Chelsea Outpatient Centre is a modern diagnostic and treatment healthcare facility in the heart of Chelsea. 

Chelsea Outpatient Centre offers 13 consulting rooms and three treatment rooms where minor procedures can be carried out 

The Lead Clinical Sister/ Deputy Outpatients Manager will be responsible for supporting the Head of Outpatient Services in ensuring delivery of high quality and efficient outpatient services, delivering key quality performance and financial plans and service enhancements.

You will also be expected to cover clinical work and managerial responsibilities within the working role.

What you’ll bring:    

  • NMC Registered Nurse Level 1   

  • Management experience   

  • Previous experience in an outpatient department or large service at a senior level

  • Understanding of clinical audit processes/service improvement

  • Compassionate and able to showcase excellent patient care

  • Strong communication skills

  • Ability to manage, motivate, support, develop and lead the department

  • A focus on positive patient and user experience

  • Knowledge of appropriate standards and external bodies, such as the Care Quality Commission

  • Ability to implement continuous quality improvement initiatives
