We’re looking for a Advanced Nurse Practitioner/Trainee Advance Nurse Practitioner to join our Oncology Unit at The Christie Private Care, currently rated “Outstanding” by the CQC. HCA Healthcare UK has developed a dedicated private centre in partnership with The Christie NHS Foundation Trust in Manchester. The Christie Private Care treats private patients with a full range of diagnostic, inpatient, surgical, day case and outpatient treatment all on one site. 

As an Advanced Nurse Practitioner, you’ll provide clinical excellence in the delivery of responsive, holistic care to patients with oncology conditions. The practitioner will practice autonomously and also within a defined multidisciplinary team in accordance with local guidelines and protocols. To provide initial history taking, clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment and evaluation of care, the post holder will demonstrate critical thinking in the decision making process with support from the physicians as required. They will deliver a professional approach to the provision of high quality nursing care, acting as a role model to junior staff. There will be an expectation that the post holder works in the inpatient assessment areas when required.

What you’ll bring:

  • RGN, NMC registered with PIN
  • Non- Medical independent prescriber Essential
  • Educated to First Level Degree in related subject
  • Advanced assessment skills module or equivalent at MSc level
