Advanced Occupational Therapist – Neuro (Senior 1)

Full time: Monday – Friday 37.5 hour per week
9am – 5pm
£Competitive salary dependent on experience
We’re looking for an Advanced Occupational Therapist to join our Occupational Therapy team at The Wellington Hospital, currently rated “Good” by the CQC and home to the largest private hospital-based rehabilitation centre in the UK. In the 20 years since our Rehabilitation centre launched we’ve established an international reputation for delivering the very best rehabilitation programmes, transforming the lives of thousands of patients. And, our Occupational Therapy team are a key part of the holistic care we offer, playing a vital role across both our acute medical ward and Neurological rehabilitation wards.
As an Advanced Occupational Therapist, you’ll rotate across our wards in both our North and South buildings, working collaboratively as part of our multidisciplinary team to enhance the health and wellbeing of patients with a wide variety of conditions. Day-to-day we’ll look to you to use your expertise to support junior staff in the delivery of our Occupational Therapy provision while also assisting in quality improvement projects throughout the hospital. In return for your expertise, you’ll have the chance to work alongside some of the top Neuro consultants, get access to training and professional development and work with high level, state-of-the-art, assistive technology to supplement your Occupational Therapy interventions.

What you’ll bring:
- Degree in Occupational Therapy with HCPC registration
- Significant experience in neurology
- Significant experience working within an in-patient setting
- Experience in training junior members of staff with their development
