Monday to Sunday, Early (0730-1600), Later (12.30-2100) and long days (0730-2100)

We’re looking for a Theatre Practitioner Scrub to join our Theatre Team at The Portland Hospital. Currently rated “Good” by the CQC, The Portland Hospital is part of HCA Healthcare, established for over 50 years and the leading private healthcare company in London.
The Portland Hospital is the only private hospital in the UK dedicated to the healthcare of women and children. We're the UK's largest private children's hospital with over 46 paediatric beds including a 10-bed intensive care unit, a neonatal intensive care unit, and a day case unit. Caring for over 40,000 children a year, we provide treatment for everything from general paediatric conditions to complex craniofacial reconstruction. We have over 175 paediatric consultants available to treat children from new-born up to the age of 18.
As the only fully private maternity hospital in the UK, delivering over 1,600 babies a year, we place great importance on providing safe and high quality care for expectant mothers. As a Theatre Practitioner (Scrub), you’ll participate fully within the scrub team supporting your colleagues in all areas and specialties to deliver high quality care to achieve first class outcomes for patients whilst also sharing knowledge and information to achieve team objectives.

What you’ll bring:
- Current HCPC/NMC Registration
- Post graduate experience in Theatres
- Paediatric, Gynae & Obstetrics experience would be an advantage
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated and able to motivate others
