We’re looking for a Lead Pharmacist with strong clinical experience to join our team at HCA at London Bridge Hospital, currently rated “Outstanding” by the CQC.
London Bridge Hospital is one of the UK’s largest private healthcare hospitals specialising in complex and acute care. Spread over three main buildings and five outpatient centres, it is home to a number of specialist units and teams across a wide range of disciplines including orthopaedic, spinal, digestive diseases, liver, hepatobiliary, renal, cardiothoracic, critical care, cancer and transplant services.
As a Lead Pharmacist you will work across our three sites, ensuring continued provision and development of a high quality clinical pharmacy service and advice to inpatients, outpatients and hospital staff. You will be responsible for managing, training and developing a team of junior pharmacists working in complex specialities such as cardiothoracics, liver/renal transplant, critical care, general surgery, hepatobiliary and parenteral nutrition – so knowledge in these areas is essential. You will participate in (but not exclusive) Consultant-led ward rounds, review of new and innovative medicines, quality initiatives, service improvement projects including the roll out of our new EHR in 2024
As a member of the Senior Leadership team you will work closely with the Head and Deputy Head of Pharmacy to deliver the medicines safety and governance agenda,. You will also able to influence change at a department and hospital level, providing a great opportunity for personal and professional development.

What you’ll bring:
GPHc registration
Post-graduate Diploma/ Masters in Clinical Pharmacy and Non-Medical Prescriber.
Extensive clinical pharmacy hospital experience (>6years) with proven management skills
Experience in service improvement, audit, quality and medicines safety initiatives
