About the role

HCA have an exciting opportunity for a Clinical Pharmacist to join our team at the Princess Grace Hospital. We are looking for a highly motivated individual who displays positivity within a team and assist in the provision of a comprehensive clinical pharmacy service which consistently meets the needs of all service users.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a safe and patient-focused clinical pharmacy service to the inpatient wards in addition to outpatients. This includes undertaking medicines reconciliation, assessing pharmaceutical needs, assessing and facilitating the use of patient’s own drugs, ensuring appropriate drug supply. The candidate will be supported in their career development and progression by the pharmacy team.

Skills and Experience

  • M. Pharm (Pharmacy) or equivalent.
  • Registered with the GPhC.
  • A minimum of 1 years post registration experience in hospital pharmacy.
  • Working towards or looking to start their postgraduate Diploma in either Clinical Pharmacy or General Pharmacy Practice (or equivalent - MSc in Clinical Pharmacy)
  • Ability to work on own initiative and effectively as part of a team both within pharmacy and a multidisciplinary environment.
  • Demonstrable experience in clinical pharmacy practice covering different specialities
