Staff Nurse - Outpatients
Location – HCA Healthcare UK, Institute of Sport, Exercise and Health (ISEH), 170 Tottenham Court Rd, London W1T 7HA
This role is a 37.5 hours per week Monday – Friday and requires flexibility; shift pattern are 07:45 to 18:15 and 07:45 to 20:15.
This role offers a salary up to £37,225, this will be dependent on experience + Benefits (pension, health cover, flexible benefits and excellent career development)
We want staff who are passionate about helping individuals make a difference to their sport, lives, and health. As such, we are seeking a Staff Nurse to work at ISEH, where you will assess, plan, deliver and evaluate high standards of nursing care.
Duties & Responsibilities
Assess, plan and deliver care to meet patient and family needs
Undertake extended roles such as phlebotomy
Contribute to research based care and other practice development initiatives
Contribute to the setting of clinical standards, policy and procedure
Promote good communication channels amongst staff enhancing good team work
To maintain a safe environment for patients and staff
To deputise for senior staff in their absence, demonstrating leadership and management
Respect and ensure patients privacy and confidentiality
Registered Nurse Level 1
UKCC Registration and PREP requirements
ENB course/experience relevant to specialist area is desirable
Knowledge of relevant NMC/national guidelines, policies and procedures (Code of conduct)
Experience in sport medicine, orthopaedics and / or outpatient services is desirable.
Phlebotomy training desirable
