Job -Senior 1 Radiographer (Mammography & General X-ray)
Location - The Lister Hospital, London
Contract Type - Fixed Term Contract until June 2023
Hours- 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday with shifts between 8am-8pm (with weekend requirements & on -call)
Salary - Competitive (dependent upon skills and experience)

As a Senior 1 Radiographer, you will be part of a supportive team focusing on delivering a high standard of diagnostic imaging to all service users, ensuring clinical safety and facilitating a high standard of patient care.This is a rotational post with an opportunity to cover both General X-ray & Mammography.
This position is equivalent to a NHS band 7.

Duties and responsibilities
Skilfully provide accurate diagnostic imaging services by operating Imaging equipment in accordance with operational procedures and ensuring routine quality assurance procedures are carried out.
Work within a multi-disciplinary team to maximise clinical efficiency.
To provide a portable service to wards and departments when required
Participate in the group Mammographic image assessment as part of our quality audit.
Ensure all equipment faults and malfunctions are recorded and reported to the correct parties.
To rotate between areas as required.
Assist in staff orientation and training.
Skills and Experience
Educated to A level standard or equivalent
Diploma of the Society of Radiographers’ (or above)
Hold a Post Graduate Certificate of Competence in Mammography (or equivalent)
Minimum 3 years post qualification experience in mammograhy

The Lister Hospital and its outpatient centres are located in the heart of Chelsea, and have consistently provided care and treatment in London for over 30 years. We offer access to leading consultants from London's top teaching hospitals and contemporary treatment, with several highly specialised units including fertility, gastroenterology medicine and orthopaedics and surgery. With 60 beds across three floors, we offer a specialised service, bespoke to our patient’s needs. Our six-bed critical care unit provides dedicated specialised care to seriously ill patients with a range of surgical or medical conditions. In addition to this we have a 13 bedded acute medical unit.
