Senior Staff Nurse Endoscopy
Location – The Princess Grace Hospital, 42-52 Nottingham Pl, Marylebone, London W1U 5NY
This role is a 37.5 hours per week Monday – Friday

About the Role
As a Endoscopy Senior Staff Nurse you will assess, develop, implement and evaluate the care needs of patients undergoing endoscopic procedures, provide the Consultant with skilled assistance and to ensure all flexible endoscopes are processed, stored, used and tracked and checked in accordance with current regulations
Duties and Responsibilities
To deliver a consistently high standard of patient care utilising evidence based practice.
To work without direct supervision according to organisational policies and in accordance with HCA Code of Conduct.
To supervise and support staff in delivering appropriate patient care.
To maintain an up-to-date professional portfolio.
To participate in clinical supervision and mentorship of staff.
To continue to develop professionally in chosen area of speciality.
To adopt the Departmental Philosophy of Care.
To be actively involved in assessing and managing all clinical risks facing patient.
Skills and Experience
Registered Nurse Level 1
NMC Registration and PREP requirements
Previous experience working in a GI endoscopy unit.
Teaching and Assessing in Clinical Practice Certificate preferable.
Have the relevant endoscopy experience for the role.
