Senior Specialist Physiotherapist- Women's Health

Location – The Portland Hospital for Women and Children

Hours - Part time, 22.5 hours per week

About the Role

The Portland hospital have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Physiotherapist to join their friendly and growing team. In this role you will be responsible for providing; specialised assessment, diagnosis, treatment and management of Women’s Health inpatients and outpatients.

You will have the opportunity to plan, deliver and assist in evaluating the provision of physiotherapy in partnership with Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT) colleagues, Clinical Team Lead and the Therapy Services Manager. You will act as a specialist source of expertise for physiotherapy colleagues and other healthcare professionals both within the Portland and across HCA. 

Skills & Experience

• BSc Physiotherapy or equivalent

• HCPC Registration

• At least 2 years experience specifically in field of women’s / pelvic health at a band 6 level or above

• Post-graduate training in Women’s Health (pelvic health) conditions in uro-gynaecology and obstetric care, evidence of updated clinical skills / knowledge-base

• Member of the CSP Special Interest Group POGP

• Proficient in both vaginal and anorectal examinations and treatment planning for all gynecology or urology conditions

• Proficient in assessment and treatment of obstetric musculoskeletal conditions
