About the role
HCA have two exciting opportunities for Senior Clinical Pharmacists to join the Wellington Hospital. In this role, you will deliver specialist clinical pharmacy services to one of our Intensive Care Units in accordance with set objectives to meet the needs of our patients and the required standards of quality and professional practice.
You will have the opportunity to demonstrate specialist clinical pharmacy advice to medical and nursing staff within Critical Care and be responsible for the delivery and evaluation of Clinical Pharmacy services to the Critical Care directorate.
The Wellington Hospital has two Critical Care Units, so you will have the opportunity to work across an extremely diverse and acute patient-load covering a range of specialities, including Cardiac, Liver, Neuro & Spinal. As our units are equipped with the latest technology you will be providing specialised care to our level 2 & 3 patients.
Skills and experience
Registered with General Pharmaceutical Council
Previous post-registration extensive hospital experience (4 years)
Critical Care experience desirable
Additional postgraduate clinical qualification e.g. Diploma in Clinical Pharmacy or MSc in Clinical Pharmacy or other relevant post-graduation qualification
